Highlights of Sessions II

In session II, we were honored to have Mr. Amit Agarwal, and Mr. Srikar Sai

Mr. Amit Agarwal, Director – Technical at ANSYS, India 

Mr. Agarwal spoke on “Career in Engineering Simulations” . He emphasized  on Hard work and Sincerity and Honesty as the three key components. In the every engaging discussion, he highlighted to  the students  the importance of Communication Skills!  

Mr. Srikar Sai, Presales solution consultant at Siemens Digital Industries Software

Mr. Srikar Sai gave an overview of Combustion Modeling with applications to industry. He covered all the scenarios of Non-Premixed, Premixed, Partially Premixed combustion. 

 

Highlights of Session I

 

In Session I, We were honored  to have Dr. Ravi Aglave, Mr. Sandep Nain and Mr. Sagar More. 

Dr. Ravi Aglave, Director, Energy and Process Solutions, Siemens

This talk on turbulence was more about how to solve industrial turbulent flow simulation problems practically rather than the depth of the theory. It did explain the concepts behind the model to explain the limitations and applications of the models in Simcenter STAR-CCM+ from Siemens

The trainees felt that it was one of the best turbulence session they ever came across!

Mr. Sandeep Nain, Country Head, (Technical), ARK Infosolutions

Sandeep choose a latest subject on “Electric Vehicle Modeling” to thrill the undergrad students. He gave a detailed overview of different aspects of  EV modeling. After his talk, the students expressed their wish to contribute in the area of EV Modeliing!

Sagar gave  detailed insight of advanced meshing in fluent. His explanations and  smooth demonstration made every one feel complex meshing very simple.
